Week 13

     Hello! This 20% project I know has taught Jon and I something, even though we didn't complete this project together. It was a difficult project especially not having Jon working with me anymore because i would relay on him to do all the work. And i do admit that I would be lazy and he would do my work for me at times. I could say that I did manage and i did succeed on doing this project all by myself, even though it was difficult for me because it was a lot to do. I have two classmates that are doing there 20% project by themselves and that is why I wouldn't really give up on this project because i knew i could've done it by myself. I did fail when it came to my blogs. I would procrastinate especially that I had to do two of my blogs. I would be to lazy, but I do hope that I managed to keep many of you updated with movie reviews. I really did enjoy this project and i hope all of you enjoyed my movie reviews. This truly has been a wonderful year. Thank you.

Week 12

     Today's movie of the week is The Impossible. A sad story that will touch every single one of our hearts. This movie is about a family who go on a vacation to Thailand Maria, the mother Henry, the father and there three children. One morning, the family relaxes by the pool after there Christmas festivities a terrifies roar rises up from the earth. Maria is terrified and dosnt know what to do. Unfortunately the family brakes apart. Maria and one of her child try to look for there father and the two kids. Maria is very injured and really need to have a doctor see her. These poor people help Maria and her child get her to the hospital. Unfortunately Maria is loosing a lot of blood and can die. The father and the two other kids try looking for Maria and there other child. This is a very sad story that will defiantly touch your heart and motivate you to appreciate your family more. Watch The Impossible and i guarantee you wont regret it.

Week 10

     White House down is today's movie of the week. A thrilling movie that will capture your attention and you will enjoy. This movie is about a father who loves her daughter and decides to take her on a tour to the White House. His daughter has always wanted to go to the White House and meet the president. The little girl decides to go to the restroom and suddenly this horrible terror happens. A heavily armed group of paramilitary invaders invade the White House. They kill a lot of police officers and many important people in the White House. The little girl tries to go back with her father but it was to late because they had captured the little girl. The father tries to go find his daughter and to save people, but it wasn't easy. What will happen in this thrilling movie? Find out by watching White House Down and you will not regret it.  

Week 9

     Hocus Pocus, is a legendary Disney horror movie. A movie that will become one of your favorites. Hocus Pocus, is about three witches who try to take the lives of children to get themselves younger. Before the three sisters are executed by the the Salem family, they vow to come back 300 years later to get their revenge. Three hundred years later this young Californian boy, Max, explores with his little sister and this girl he has a big crush on the witches house. He dosnt believe in the three witches, so he decided to light a black candle who possibly bring the witches back to life. Then unexpected things start to happen in the house and the witches open the door and start to get ready to steal all the kids, so they can live forever, but Max, the sister, and the girl tell the witches that they wont let it happen. Max takes the book away from the witches and the witches have to know find the book in order to make their possession to give to the kids to live forever. The kids try telling everyone about the witches but no one will believe them. Know its up to them to to brake all the spells and save all the children. Will they succeed or not?

Week 8

     Today's movie of the week is Oculus. Keep in mind that this movie is rated R, so if you are planning to watch it and are under 18 watch it with someone 21 or older. This is a horror movie that will sure frighten you ! Ten years a go in the Russell family a horrible tragedy happened that changed this families lives. Two teenage kids who have to go through this experience are marked and will never forget what happened that night. Tim killed his father and when he is released from protective custody he wants to move on and forget everything that happened in the past. Kaylie on the other hand, is determined to prove her brothers innocence. She believes that it wasn't her brothers fault for her parents death but something else that was haunting them. In her fathers office there was this big mirror and slowly by slowly they noticed a big change in her father. He was more cruel and didn't care about them, they even believe he was cheating on his mom. Kaylie tracks down the mirror and takes it to there old house. Tim and Kaylie soon discover that they are taken back to there childhood and this horrible night that changed there life. Watch Oculus is you enjoy watching scary movies but remember to take someone 21 or older if you are under 18.


    

Week 4

     It all begins with this beautiful flower created by the sun and that is really powerful. This flower has the ability to heal anything. This old lady uses the flower to make herself young every day. Until one day in the kingdom the queen was dieing while she was giving birth to beautiful princess named, Rapunzel. The soldiers went out into the woods to look for this flower, so they could save the queen. once they found the flower they brought it to the queen and she was healed, but also the princess was born with beautiful hair and her hair was know the magic power. When the old lady found the princess she kidnapped her and took her far away, so nobody could find her. The soldiers searched and searched for the princess, but they never found her. When Rapunzel started to grow up she wanted to go outside and explore the world, but she wasn't able to because the mean old lady wanted to keep her hidden. Flin Ridder a handsome thief steals the princess crown in the kingdom. Then he goes on top of the building and hides. Rapunzel is really scared and dose not now what to do. What will happen in this adventures Walt Disney Classic? Watch Tangled and find out.


             

Week 3

    Enchanted, an animated classic about a young princess and a young prince who fall deeply in love the moment they see each other. The prince proposes to the beautiful princess, but his evil stepmother isn't going to give up her throne for this young couple.  The evil queen throws the princess, Giselle into this magical waterfall were the cartoon turns into a realistic people. Giselle is scared and has no idea what to do, but then this handsome lawyer finds her and is willing to help her find her way back home. As time goes by Giselle starts to fall in love with this handsome lawyer and the lawyer begins to fall in love with her. The handsome prince comes into the real world to look for Giselle and take her back to the kingdom to get married, but the evil princess sends one of her workers to go and poison Giselle. Since, the worker couldn't poison her the evil queen goes out into the real world to kill her herself. Will the evil queen kill Giselle? Who will Giselle stay with the lawyer or prince? Watch this romantic movie and and find out what happens.

Week 1

     Hello, today Jon and I, will be talking about The Haunted Mansion. A funny, but scary movie about ghost and a lie that has to be unleashed. The haunted Mansion movie starts of with Eddie Murphy, as Jim Evers a man with two kids and a wonderful wife. His wife and him are a team and work together. His wife Sara confronts him about how he dose not spend enough time with his family and her all he does is work. Jim agrees to take his family to vacation by the lagoon, but one night his wife gets this call from this guy who is trying to sale his house. Sara refuses to go because shes going on a family vacation but Jim tells her after they are done looking at the house they will go on there family vacation. Once they get to the mansion the butler takes them with the master. What the Evers didn't know was that the people in the mansion were ghost. In fact a little background about the master was he was deeply in love with a lady just that looked like Sara, but unfortunately she died, and the master was determined to find her. Jim was determined to find out the truth because the mean butler told the master that Sara was his true love. What they didn't know was that the butler had poisoned her. Watch this historical but spooky movie and find out what happens. Enjoy!
